Choosing a band

We had already decided that we were going to create a music video based on a band rather than a solo artist as we had camera shot ideas for a band already e.g. cross cutting shots showing the band playing at the  same time as the story is being told through acting.


 In order to reach a decision on what band we were going to use we brainstormed bands that are categorized under the indie pop genre:

1. Two Door Cinema Club
2. The Big Pink
3. Plain White T's
4. Noah And The Whale
5. Vampire Weekend
6. The King Blues
7. The Kooks
8. One Republic
9. The Lumineers
10. One Night Only

We were torn between Two Door Cinema Club and Plain White T's, in order to solve this problem we researched some of their music videos to see what was to our preferred reading.
