Filming In bluewater

Another main location for filming was Bluewater Lake, using the bridge, the lake and the tunnel. This setting was mainly used to reflect the good times that Delilah had with Tom as it is a romantic setting and luckily the sun was shining on that day which is an example of pathetic fallacy. Luckily the area was rather deserted which meant we had all the room to ourselves which is effective as the shots were trying to show how we don't need anyone else and when we're together we're in our own world and block everyone out. Using the lake was effective as we could take abstract shots of the ducks swimming away reflecting Delilahs departure from Tom. Also the reflection of the sun and the trees would reflect onto the lake which is an effective shot that can break up band shots and narrative shots. Although the shots are to represent there good times, we also used it to show there separation as well, for we took shots of us together then me disappearing as well as high shots of Kieran being sad by the lake, as he is thinking about the good times they had there.
